Before I met with Bobby Jones I spoke with two other attorneys who weren't eager to take my case. Neither of them seemed to care about me personally nor showed that they would represent me in a professional manner. Bobby was different, from the first day I met with him he showed a genuine concern for me personally and was straightforward and honest. He always listened to me and told me the important thing was for me to get well. I was never left in the dark; Bobby returned phone calls, he was honest, straightforward and consistently kept me informed as the case progressed. He was very detailed, gathered facts and did research to prepare to represent me. I trusted him because he always respected me as a person opposed to a client because "that's his job". I believe all this benefitted our final result. He exceeded my expectations! Because of Bobby I was able to return to the life I had before the accident. I would highly recommend Bobby and his law office to anyone in need of and attorney with experience, competence, the ability to maximize your recovery and at the same time keep the costs to a minimal. I thank God for the day I walked into Parham Smith & Archenhold LLC and met Bobby Jones.
On March 19, 2011 my life changed forever. I watched as both my children were thrown from a miniature train at Cleveland Park in to the watery, rocky ravine. Both of my children almost died that day. My 5 year old son, Morgan, suffered a traumatic brain injury and was in ICU for a month. He was then transferred to a rehab facility for an additional 3 weeks as he tried to recover from his injuries. Camden's, my 8 year old son, leg was nearly amputated. His femoral artery was severed and his femur was broken as well. He too spend a month in ICU and has undergone 11 surgeries to repair the damages. He continued rehab for over a year and will forever walk with a limp. When you are faced with a situation as I was, your priorities immediately change. No longer did I worry that our beds were not made, or that the dishes were not washed, or that we were five minutes late to school. I worried if Camden would ever walk again and if I would ever again hear Morgan's sweet voice. Along with all the worries for my children, I was faced with the fact that I owed almost a million dollars in medical bills for their treatments. I did not know who to turn to for help. Fortunately I was introduced to Blake Smith. Blake took the time to listen to my story and help take part of my burdens away. When I met Blake I felt hopeless. Due to the circumstances surrounding my case I knew I was facing an uphill battle. Blake and his team worked diligently for me and my boys for over 2 years in order to resolve my case. There was never a time when I felt as if Blake or his firm were not giving me 110%. They made no mistakes and were beyond prepared when it came time to represent me.Without Blake's diligence, support, guidance, and encouragement I never would have been able to focus on helping my boys overcome this horrible accident. I was able to trust in the fact that Blake and his firm were handling my case with great expertise and professionalism, which allowed me to spend my time focusing on helping my children heal. March 19, 2011 is a day that changed my life forever, but the day I met Blake Smith forever changed my life too. I could never repay him for all he has done for me and my children.

When I first met with Blake Smith I was without hope that anyone could help me in my situation, or that anyone cared. I left that meeting knowing with certainty that I had a champion in my corner. Blake and his staff did not give me false hope like other attorneys that I had met with about my case, who spouted big numbers, promises, and then did nothing. But more importantly Blake made me believe in myself, my case, and gave me courage to go through my legal journey that would begin in his office that day.
I spent 11 days in intensive care, almost died, then almost lost my foot all because of a bunion removal gone horribly wrong which was performed by a local podiatrist. I spent all of my savings on medical bills; I lost all of my vacation and sick days at work, and was docked pay for missing so much work. I very nearly lost my job. I walk with a permanent limp, had to undergo 3 more subsequent operations, and am still facing another operation coming up. My case took almost 2 years. This was arduous, and stressful on me and my family. Without Blake’s guidance, gentle encouragement, and excellent case strategy, I am certain I would have been buried by the other side. With their multiple lawyers hired by a big malpractice insurance firm we faced a difficult road. But Blake and his firm made no missteps, had a flawless, and professional game plan, and we, the little guy, overcame.
I was made whole again, financially, with the outcome of a settlement. But more important I was given hope again, that justice can prevail when another person is so egregiously wronged. I got my faith back after I suffered so much despair at the hands of a medical community that should be held accountable for fundamental errors that very nearly destroyed me. I will never ever be able to repay Blake Smith for believing in me and my case. Never.
