PSA employees and families participate in recent charity event
Most people know of someone, or maybe several, whose lives have been greatly impacted due to breast cancer. Each year, millions of people across the country participate in breast cancer awareness initiatives and events to raise donations to fight this deadly disease. Parham Smith & Archenhold showed our support for this important matter when the law firm’s employees and family members took part in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.
The event
The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk event occurred on Oct. 24 in Greenville, South Carolina. The event is designed to raise money and awareness about breast cancer and help provide important services, like free rides to treatment, free places for patients to stay near their treatment centers and more. Making Strides has become the largest of its kind in the country.
Several commercial sponsors participated in the event, including Parham Smith & Archenhold and the firm’s subsidiary, Blackacre Law. Together, the two law firms raised nearly $2,000 in donations for this important cause. Breast cancer remains one of the leading causes of premature deaths in women throughout the nation, with more than 280,000 diagnosed so far in 2021.
Supporting our community
Parham Smith & Archenhold has always supported our community through our involvement in important charitable and civic events. We are proud to have been able to participate in such an important event to help those adversely affected by this horrible disease. Working together, we hope to one day finally put an end to the unnecessary suffering it has caused.
